Lunch for Two

Amy invited her new coworker, Leo, to lunch. She was going to order chicken sandwiches for both of them. Before ordering, she asked Leo what he liked to eat. He told her that he did not eat meat.

They looked at the menu together. There was a vegetable sandwich, but it contained cheese. Leo said cheese was fine for him. Amy ordered one chicken sandwich and one vegetable sandwich. They both chose water to drink.

During lunch, they talked about their first week at work. Amy was glad she had asked before ordering. A short conversation helped them choose a meal they could both enjoy.
