Ten Minutes in the Park

On most workdays, Omar ate lunch at his desk. He watched videos while eating and then started work again. One sunny day, a friend asked him to sit in the park across the street for ten minutes.

They found a bench under a tree. Omar left his phone in his pocket. He could hear birds and children playing. His friend talked about a book, and Omar told her about his weekend. They went back before their lunch break ended.

The park did not change Omar's busy afternoon. Still, he liked having a short moment away from his screen. He now visits the park when the weather and his schedule allow it.
