After buying groceries, Nora checked her receipt while waiting for the bus. She noticed two bags of coffee on the list, although she had bought only one. The difference was small, but she wanted to understand what had happened.
She returned to the shop and showed the cashier the receipt and the items in her bag. Instead of accusing anyone, she explained that the coffee seemed to have been scanned twice. The cashier checked the record, apologized, and corrected the payment.
The conversation took only a few minutes. Nora knew that mistakes could happen during a busy shift. Checking the details and describing the problem calmly helped both people solve it. Since then, she has made a habit of checking receipts before leaving a shop, especially when buying several similar items.
