The Last Train Plan

Rita and her friends planned to attend a concert in another town. They checked the train to get there, but nobody checked the journey home. Just before leaving, Rita noticed that the last train departed only twenty minutes after the concert's expected finish.

The station was a fifteen-minute walk from the venue. That left little time if the show ended late. The friends discussed their options. They could leave during the final song, arrange a ride, or stay overnight. Rita checked the cost and availability of each choice.

They decided to book a room near the station and return the next morning. It made the trip more expensive, so they agreed before paying. Their plan was not the cheapest possible one, but everyone understood it and could enjoy the concert without watching the clock.
